Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Panda's Recap (the “Service”) at pandasrecap.com. By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Your account and your content

• You can use Panda's Recap as a guest, or sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• The content you create (boards, cards, notes, time entries) is yours. You're responsible for it, and for keeping your own backups. You can export a backup any time from Settings.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service. For example, don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it, and don't use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

The Service is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It's an early product: we may add, change, or remove features, and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We'll do our best to look after your data, but you should keep your own backups of anything important.

AI features

Some features, such as AI Polish, use AI to help draft or rewrite your content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or reworded in ways you didn't intend, so it's provided as a starting point only. You are responsible for reviewing anything AI-generated for accuracy before you rely on or share it. AI features may be subject to usage limits, and we may change, limit, or discontinue them at any time. To provide these features, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) as described in the Privacy Policy.

Plans, pricing, and billing

Panda's Recap has a free plan and a paid plan (“Pro”).

• Free. The core app is free to use, as a guest or signed in. Your data is stored locally in your browser.
• Pro. Pro costs US$5 per month and adds cloud sync across your devices and AI features such as AI Polish. New subscribers get a 30-day free trial.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are in US dollars, and any applicable taxes are added at checkout.

Free trial. If you don't cancel before your 30-day trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged.

Renewal. Pro is a subscription that renews automatically each month until you cancel. Each renewal charges your payment method for the coming month.

Cancelling. You can cancel any time from “Manage subscription” in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep Pro until then. We don't offer refunds or pro-rated credit for partial periods.

If Pro ends. If your subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, the Pro features (cloud sync and AI features) stop, but your data is not deleted. It stays available locally in your browser, and you can export a backup any time from Settings.

Price changes. We may change Pro's price or what it includes. If we do, we'll let you know in advance, and any change applies to future billing periods, not ones you've already paid for.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panda's Recap is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date above.
