Panda's RecapLast updated: July 23, 2026
These terms cover your use of Panda's Recap (the “Service”) at pandasrecap.com. By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Please don't misuse the Service. For example, don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to it, and don't use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
The Service is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It's an early product: we may add, change, or remove features, and we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We'll do our best to look after your data, but you should keep your own backups of anything important.
Some features, such as AI Polish, Generate Résumé and Ask Panda, use AI to help draft, rewrite, or answer questions about your content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or reworded in ways you didn't intend, so it's provided as a starting point only. You are responsible for reviewing anything AI-generated for accuracy before you rely on or share it. AI features are subject to monthly usage limits that differ by plan, and we may change, limit, or discontinue them at any time. To provide these features, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider (currently Anthropic) as described in the Privacy Policy.
Résumés especially. A résumé is a statement you make about yourself to an employer, and you alone are responsible for it. Read every line before you send one out, and check that the job titles, dates, employers, qualifications and figures are accurate and are claims you're willing to stand behind. AI can rephrase things in ways that overstate them. Panda's Recap can only work from the details you enter, the work you tracked, and any existing résumé you chose to upload, so it can't verify any of it, and we give no assurance that a generated résumé is accurate, complete, or suitable for any application. If you upload a résumé, anything inaccurate or out of date in it can be carried straight through into the new one, so check the result rather than assuming the old document was right. We are not responsible for the outcome of any job application.
Ask Panda especially. Ask Panda answers questions about the work you've tracked. Its answers are built by looking things up on your own board, but the AI still chooses which lookups to run and how to word what comes back, so it can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Check anything that matters before you repeat it, and don't treat an answer as a record of your work. Your board is the record.
Ask Panda is not a support service. It is a tool for looking up your own work, and nothing more. It is not a crisis line, and it does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. Nothing it says is a substitute for a qualified person. If you or anyone else is at risk of harm, contact your local emergency services. In the US you can call or text 988; elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists crisis services by country.
You can import meetings as tasks from a calendar file you export yourself (.ics or .csv), which is free and needs no account, or, on Pro, by connecting Google Calendar directly. Either way the events are read in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers, as described in the Privacy Policy. Calendar access is read-only: we never create, change, or delete anything in your calendar. While the app is open in your browser it re-reads your calendar periodically to keep imported meetings current; it cannot read anything once the app is closed, because no refresh token is ever stored. You can turn sync off in Settings, or disconnect at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Imported events become ordinary tasks, so editing or deleting them in Panda's Recap has no effect on your real calendar.
Panda's Recap has a free plan and a paid plan (“Pro”).
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. The price is shown at checkout in your local currency where we support it, and any applicable taxes are added there.
Free trial. Your first Pro subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. We collect your payment details when you start it, and nothing is charged during the trial. At the end of the seventh day the plan you chose begins and your payment method is charged. Cancel before then, from “Manage subscription” in the app, and you are not charged.
Renewal. Pro is a subscription that renews automatically each period until you cancel, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose. Each renewal charges your payment method for the coming period.
Cancelling. You can cancel any time from “Manage subscription” in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep Pro until then. We don't offer refunds or pro-rated credit for partial periods.
If Pro ends. If your subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, the Pro features stop: AI Polish, Generate Résumé, Google Calendar sync, and the AI enhanced Ask Panda. Ask Panda still answers its set questions about your board and questions about how the app works. Everything else keeps working, including your account and cloud sync. Your data is not deleted, and you can export a backup any time from Settings.
Price changes. We may change Pro's price or what it includes. If we do, we'll let you know in advance, and any change applies to future billing periods, not ones you've already paid for.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Panda's Recap is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date above.
